This swing arm shade is meant to be used on swing arm floor lamps, table lamps or wall lamps that can extend or swing also. It can be used on a harp, rod, globe or with a standard bulb clip. We refer to a lampshade's size using the bottom diameter. (For instance, a lampshade measuring 8"x16"x12" - top x bottom x side - would be called a 16" lamp shade.)
